The big highlight of February was a trip to Canberra. We went with Kate’s parents and stayed 4 nights in an apartment on the lake. We had a delayed departure from Melbourne but Harriet proved herself a trouper and held it together until we were able to finally pop her in to bed around 9pm. We caught up with our friend Cathy and took in the sights include the War Memorial, National Museum and Old Parliment House. We also got to see the Post-Impression exhibition which is on at the National Gallery, which was very good. Harriet had a lovely time with her grandparents and came home ‘ooing’ like a monkey, thanks to her Gramps instruction.
